IT outsourcing in the Liptov region: we take care of your business IT

The phone usually rings the moment someone at a company has just had something stop working. A server did not boot, the network in the shop went down, or the computers slowed down overnight to the point where nobody can work. We have been around business IT in the Liptov region for more than 17 years, so we know these situations by heart.
This article is about one thing: why it makes sense for a company to leave its technology to us instead of hiring its own employee or improvising forever.
People usually call us when it is already too late
The typical story goes like this. A company has one computer running its accounting or orders. Nobody has touched it in years, there are no backups, and one morning it will not turn on. At that point it is no longer about convenience, but about data that may not come back.
If someone had looked at that computer now and then, we could have caught it for a fraction of the cost and with none of the stress. That is why we do not see outsourcing as “someone who shows up when it breaks”. We look after your technology continuously, so it breaks as little as possible. We have been doing this since 2022, first as the sole trader Bc. Peter Púchovský, TIPTECH, today as TIPTECH s. r. o., and in that time hundreds of networks, servers and computers have passed through our hands.
Why we usually do not recommend an in-house employee
Some people say a company should just hire its own person. In a small company that rarely works out. Either they are expensive and have little to do most of the time, or they are cheaper and do not know enough. And when they fall ill or leave, you are on your own for everything, usually at the worst possible moment. One person today cannot cover networks, servers and security all at once anyway.
The way it works with us is that we are your IT department, except you do not pay for the whole of it. You have a team behind you, we answer the phone around the clock, and you know in advance what it costs you per month. What we actually do for companies
No fluff, this is what we handle day to day:
Networks. We design, wire, cover the place with WiFi and separate the company network from the guest one, so a stranger on the public WiFi cannot see into your accounting. When the network goes down, it is not one computer that stops, it is the whole company.
Hardware. Computers, servers, printers, switches. We clean, repair, replace and recover data. We watch the drives, because they tend to fail quietly and all at once.
Support remotely and at your place. We handle the vast majority of things remotely in a few minutes, no waiting for a visit. When we really need to come over, connect or replace something, we do. We are from Liptov, not from a call centre on the other side of the country.
Watching over it. We continuously monitor servers, networks and websites, so we often know about an outage or a disk running out of space before you do. That it works shows in the articles on website availability monitoring and server room temperature monitoring.
Who it suits and who it does not
We will be honest, it is not for everyone. If you are a large company with your own IT department, you do not need us. And if you have two computers you use once a week, you will get by without us too.
It suits small and medium companies best, the ones that cannot support or fully use their own department, and operations where every hour of downtime costs money: shops, offices, manufacturing, accommodation.
