What websites know about you
Every page you open instantly knows a surprising amount about you, even without cookies and without logging in. Below you can see exactly what your browser reveals: your public IP address, browser and system, screen, language, time zone and hardware. It is all detected on your side and nothing is sent anywhere. Read more about IP in What is an IP address.
All of this is read by every website you visit, with no cookies and no consent. It is detected in your browser and nothing is sent to us.
Frequently asked questions
Can every website really see all this?
Yes. Your browser reveals this automatically on every visit, with no cookies and no consent. Sites can use it to recognize your device (a so called fingerprint).
Do you store my data?
No. Everything is detected right in your browser and shown only to you. The only thing loaded from the server is your public IP, and we do not store that either.
How can I protect myself from this?
A VPN hides your public IP. You can limit the browser trace with an up to date browser, script blocking and anti tracking modes. You cannot hide completely, only make it harder.
What is a public IP address?
It is the address the internet sees you under, assigned by your provider. There is more in our What is an IP address article linked below.
